Hijaz College

Pioneering a Greater Future

Links with local Further Education College

Hijaz College has worked in partnership with the largest Further Education College in the Midlands since September 2000, namely North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, which has benefited our staff and most students in many ways. This means staff and students have access to the same services and facilities as those at North Warwickshire and Hinckley College.

Students

It has given our students access to a wider range of A' Levels including:

Psychology, Sociology, Biology and English

Our students also have access to its state of the art Learning Resource Centre, Library facilities, specially equipped Science laboratories and sporting facilities. Students are able to access these and more programmes in conjunction with their Islamic Studies programme; subject to time-tabling limitations, which can be confirmed at the start of the academic year.

Higher Education Programmes

Although our students have the opportunity to study the LL.B Law Degree at Hijaz, the partnership with North Warwickshire and Hinckley College has created opportunities for our students to study other Higher Education programmes alongside their Ilm-e-Deen Degree, such as the BSC in Computing.

Students can also benefit from a range of other Degree programmes in Marketing, Business & Finance to name a few. Click here to view the North Warwickshire & Hinckley College website for all the courses and facilities which are available for the Hijazi students.

Staff Development and Training

Hijaz College believes in continuous development of its staff to ensure that they provide the high level of teaching that is demanded of its students. North Warwickshire and Hinckley College's staff development and training programme has played an important part in providing expert training for teaching and support staff. Over recent years, staff have benefited from a range of training programmes delivered by North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, which includes Teacher Training, PGCE, Curriculum development, First Aid and other Management programmes.

This training supports the in-house training that staff receive on a regular basis, through a series of workshops, which means students will benefit with high standards of teaching and management.
